With multiple bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, mornings are easier, getting ready is less stressful, and there’s plenty of room for everyone to feel at home.
The Cape Coral Luxury Escape has a private dock behind the house, and the canal it sits on has direct Gulf access. That means the boat goes in the water here and comes out in open water — no trailer, no ramp queue on a Saturday morning, no hour of driving with a boat behind you. The kayaks and the paddleboards live here too, so the flat-water morning is a decision you make at breakfast, not a rental you book in advance.
The pool is heated, which matters more in January than people from Michigan expect. There is a hot tub, a tiki bar, an outdoor kitchen and a gas grill, so on most nights nobody cooks inside. Twelve people can eat out here without anybody standing up holding a plate.
A group of twelve does not do the same thing all day, and this house lets them not. There is more than one place to sit, and four and a half bathrooms means the morning works.

On the water
Your boat ties up behind the house and leaves from there. The kayaks and paddleboards are in the yard, and the canal is calm enough first thing that a beginner can go out on one without a lesson.

The pool is heated for the months when the Gulf is not. The tiki bar, the outdoor kitchen and the gas grill mean dinner happens out here most nights, and the hot tub is where the last four people are at eleven.

In the kitchen
The kitchen is open to the living room and runs on granite: a mosaic-tiled bar with stools, two tall stainless refrigerators, and a cooktop set into the island under its own hood, with a built-in oven in the cabinetry beside it. Laundry is a room rather than a closet — washer, dryer and a deep sink. There is a wet bar with glass shelving off the game room, and the counter-height table at the corner window seats four.

What “direct Gulf access” actually means
In Cape Coral, “Gulf access” means the canal behind the house connects through to open water, so you can leave from your own dock. What the phrase does not tell you is the part that decides which boat you can own: how many fixed bridges sit between that dock and the Gulf, and how much room there is under them.
A fixed bridge with low clearance means a low boat, full stop — a sailboat with a mast is a different conversation from a center console. It is why two houses on the same street can be worth very different money to a boater, and why we would rather explain the term than print it in a headline and let you assume.
House rules
Check-in from 4:00 pm, check-out by 10:00 am. Up to 12 guests. Minimum stay 3 nights. The person booking must be 21 or over. No smoking. No pets. This house is not suitable for children or infants. It is not wheelchair accessible. These are the rules the owners keep in their booking system, and the same ones the checkout applies. Anything not listed here — quiet hours, parking, the dock — ask us and we will tell you what actually applies.
Cancellation policy
Cancel within 24 hours after booking and you get a full refund — 100% of what you paid. For a cancellation after that, ask us before you book and we will tell you exactly what applies to your dates rather than leave you to guess at it.
Questions people ask
Does this house really sleep twelve people?
Yes — the Cape Coral Luxury Escape has five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, and twelve guests is the maximum we take, not an optimistic number. The room-by-room bed arrangement is listed on this page so you can decide who sleeps where before you travel. If your group is larger than twelve, we will tell you the house does not work rather than squeeze you in.
What does “direct Gulf access” mean for my boat?
In Cape Coral, direct Gulf access means the canal behind the house connects through to open water, so you can tie up at the private dock here and leave from it without trailering the boat anywhere. The detail that decides which boat you can bring is bridge clearance — how many fixed bridges sit between this dock and the Gulf, and how much room there is under them at high tide. Ask us for the exact bridge situation on this canal before you book, because we would rather give you the real figure than let you assume one.
Can we bring a boat, and where does it go?
There is a private dock behind the house on a Gulf-access canal, and guests are welcome to bring a boat and use it. Kayaks and paddleboards are already at the house and included, so you do not need to rent them anywhere. Message us with your boat’s length and draft and we will confirm the dock suits it.
Is the pool heated in winter?
Yes, the pool is heated, which is the difference between using it and looking at it during a January cold snap. There is also a hot tub. Ask us whether pool heating is included in your dates.
Who actually manages the house — is there a management company?
Stephanie and Joe DeLisle own and run all three Sunshine Endeavors homes themselves and have since 2020, so the person answering you about this house is the person whose house it is. There is no property manager and no call center in between. That also means we will tell you if a different one of our three homes fits your trip better.
